Duties:

The Technical Assurance Manager will be responsible for overseeing assigned technical assurance functions on a Federal Government program.  The following duties may not be all inclusive.

  1. Manage contractor’s staff performing technical assurance and Government secure mail facility tasks.

  2. Manage and oversee company assigned tasks in the following functional areas: Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health; Safeguards and Security; Personnel Security; Emergency Response; and Quality and Performance Assurance.

  3. Ensure that deliverables are completed timely and in accordance with performance requirements and objectives.

  4. Develop operational plans, manuals and procedures for the Document Management System.

  5. Support the program’s Continuity of Operations Program by serving as the contractor’s emergency management point of contact.

  6. Support the Federal Government in developing and implementing critical performance measures based on requirements from Executive Orders, Code of Federal Regulations, agency directives, and other applicable federal, state and local directives related to assigned functional areas.

  7. Prepare required reports and presentations related to technical assurance functional areas.

  8. Perform technical tasks in the areas of Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health and Emergency Response.

  9. Advise federal customer on technical matters and assist in scientific briefings and technical writing.

  10. Related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in science, business or related field.

  2. Minimum seven (7) years of relevant technical experience.

  3. Experience with federal government or federal government contracting preferred.

  4. Technical certifications in ES&H (e.g. Registered Environmental Manager, OSHA certifications, CIH, ISO 9001, etc.) preferred.

  5. Active Government Top Secret or Q clearance or ability to obtain.

  6. Experience with Microsoft Office software (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).

  7. Ability to learn government or customer-specific software tools.

  8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
